2017 年に Narbe Mardirossian と Martin Head-Gordon による交換-相関汎関数の包括的なレビュー (“Thirty years of density functional theory in computational chemistry: an overview and extensive assessment of 200 density functionals”) が発表され、Q-Chem でこの豊富な関数群を利用できるようになりました。このレビューの発表以降、M06-SX、revM06、revM11 を含む関数が追加されました。
